Why 12?
Twelve is the number of wholeness, through and through. In numerology, it is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 – representing harmony and balance and the integration of many elements into a unified whole. 12 is the sacred number of wholeness, of integration. It represents harmony. Across spiritual and religious contexts and in the natural world, its significance extends: 12 disciples, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 months in the year, 12 hours on the clock.
